Hi! First question on here :). The passenger side window does not roll up or down, does not make any noise, and neither switch works(driver/pass). My driver’s side and rear vents all operate normally. I took the door panel off and applied voltage to the motor and the window operates up and down fully functioning. This leads me to believe its just the switch, but how could both switches go bad? I tried using jumper wires to activate the window without the switch but can’t figure out what wire goes where even though I’m looking at the switch itself :/. So, its either both switches went bad, or its a fuse? But I don’t think there is a fuse for each window? Could someone tell me what to do next or give me a diagram on how to activate the window using jumper wires? Thanks for all the help from everyone!
Turned out the motor was seized. After connecting it directly to the battery the motor was electrically forced and started working again. Now my window works fine again! I guess the previous owner never used the window so it jammed up. For those looking at this post trying to fix their window: Test the motor, regulator, and switch. And check for a burnt fuse, broken wiring, or if your window is computer-controlled that might make more complications. Good luck!
