Are the SSDs between these two models interchangeable? Even if it would run slower in the older model. Apparently, between 2015 Air and Pro models, they are. As I have a scratched up MBA with 512GB and a near-mint MBP, so I’d like to switch disks. Sadly No, If you note the Link Width you have two different units x2 and x4. Think of it this way two gallons of water won’t fit into a one gallons bottle.
