The tv of a friend does noting anymore and just makes a high pitch peeping sound, see video. I opend it up to see if I could replace the power supply but it seems like that is integrated to the control board. So I am looking for a component replacement. I have no thermal camera to see what heats up so I was hoping that anyone who is more knowledgeable could point me to the component or a other method to determine the defect. Cheers!

In the attached picture I have circled around 2 capacitors in red. Is the top on these capacitors flat or domed?

@andrewsawesome It worked! The old one:

The new ones:

I am quite proud of my soldering work :)

And in the end, it turned on!

It is amazing that you could spot this via the photo, truly amazing! Thank you so much.

@andrewsawesome I just found this capacitor, If this is the right one it might save you some searching.

@andrewsawesome Hey, I just recieved the capacitors! I looked up what the polarity of capacitors is, and I wanted to ask you if you can confirm that I will do it correctly. I can see that the short wire coming from the capacitor is the negative one, because of the side that states a minus (-) sign.:

In the next picture, I show how I am planning to wire it up. (of course from the other side). I can see the plus sign on the board that should indicate that I need to insert the long wire from the capacitor through that hole right? Because, if the short one has the - sing the other one should be +.

Thanks again for all the help!
