i got this phone from my friend to check i have all the tools to check . please guide where to check and what to check ??
Jamil, you will have to give us more information. Why is the phone dead? Was it dropped, water damaged or previously repaired? The first, and most obvious thing to test is the condition of the battery. Measure the voltage of the battery with a multimeter to see what voltage you get. If it is below 3.5V, the phone may not even boot and below 2.75, the phone will not work at all. If the battery works, then you need to check to see if the water indicators are red. If you connect the phone to an iTunes enabled computer, does iTunes recognizes it? After that, it really depends on what kind of skills you have. Get back to us with more info.
