My Phone got switched-off and tried charging but it was not charging. Later, repair center changed the battery (PRIMEX) and its got switched-on. But, If I put 100% charging and it is getting drained within 4 hours without usage. Also, phone is taking lot of time (close to 4-5 hours) to come to 100% charge. And, it is charging with few cables only. One repair center mentioned that it is problem with IC. Need to change. With these symptoms, what is the real problem? Is it problem with IC or changed battery?
The complete draining in 4 hrs might be a sign of a short or a compromised IC..that happens quite a bit when using aftermarket non original/certified cables..unfortunately in the market there are many suppliers who claim MFI compliance that doesn’t find any match in Apple database. The charging time of about 4 hrs might depend on charger, but it’s not an unacceptable lenght of time and it’s quite consistent with a brand new battery.
