I have replaced the screen on my iphone 7 plus but now when I try to turn it on the screen does not turn on BUT the home vibrates and when I plug it into my computer it vibrates But Itunes does not recognize it. I know its turning on but at the same time it’s not if someone knows what to do please help
You may have burnt the backlight circuit on the logic board when you replaced the screen. This can happen when you don’t disconnect the battery first. When you connect the phone, shine a bright light on the screen. If you see a dim image, then the backlight is at cause. It could be the replacement screen or the circuit on the logic board. You could always re-connect the original screen to see if that one works properly or not. If the original doesn’t light up either, then your problem is on the logic board.
