Chosen Solution
Replaced battery with iFixit battery. Phone will not turn on and does not show charging when plugged in to a charger
Try installing your original battery to see if the problem persists. If it does, then you may have accidentally damaged something during your repair. If the old battery allows the phone to startup properly, then you may have a bad battery. Contact iFixit support.
