I just changed the battery on my moto g6, but the new battery wasn’t charging for some reasons. The only damage I could have done to the phone was when I was taking it apart, I slightly touched apart of the motherboard with some tweezers, and I carefully cleaned the motherboard with some 91% isopropyl alcohol and a small brush. I have tried using different cables and charging bricks, but it only charges to three percent when turned off, but not when turned on. The phone doesn’t show that it is receiving power, but it does keep the charge for longer when plugged in. Don’t know what else to do.

Put the old one back, if it s the same, seek repair. If the old one charges try a new battery, you may have damaged the phone and or battery when touching the board with the tweezers.
