Phone was dropped, screen is out LEDs work on the front display but not the rest of the display. phone gets very hot when charged and on? Replacing just the display does not seem to be the only fix, can you help? Update (10/06/2016) Josh, I appreciate the response, I am working on being able to provide micro soldering, but that will be after Jan 17, can you recommend a repair facility where I can send the Galaxy S6 Standard to have the charging port issue repaired?
More than likely part of the charging system was damaged in the drop. There are very small components that regulate the charging system and when one of them is damaged, things like overheating can occur. This is board level repair that requires micro soldering skill and tools.
