Chosen Solution
About a few days ago I went into the sea with my Huawei P8 Lite still in my pocket, when I came out the water my phone was vibrating like crazy and it went out. Couple of days later my phone said I had a message, but then to realize my phone worked but the screen stays black. (With working I mean: sound works, music works, touch screen works and everything but the screen)
When electronics get a dose of fresh water, they can sometimes be saved. But saltwater is nearly always fatal. Even if the device does not fail immediately, soon the salt will short something on the PCB. Don’t even try to get it fixed, just replace it.
