I have a 5s that was given to me and was dead after it had been dropped in the sink. I’ve torn down the phone and swapped the battery & display with known good spares and nothing has changed. Looks like the main logic bd is bad. How do you determine the memory size when ordering a replacement since Ive never been able to power it on? Or can I order any memory size I want? Thanks. Steve
Replacing the battery and screen alone won’t do anything when the logic board has been water damaged. You need to clean it up professionaly using an ultrasonic cleaner, or go down the DIY path and use 99.9% isypropyl alcohol and a toothbrush.
