I replaced the screen on an iPhone SE (including front camera/earpiece/sensors etc), but used the original home button for the Touch ID. I have since tried to turn on the phone. I have not had any response from the screen. There is no image on the screen (new, old and also a spare screen), there is no sound from the phone (not even in earphones) and also I am not getting any vibrations when switching the mute switch or plugging in the phone. The only activity I am getting is that my PC is recognising the phone as a USB device and connects as a drive (I cannot see files as I cannot unlock the phone with the passcode). Please help. Thanks.

Did you disconnect the battery prior to removing/re-installing the screen assembly? Failure to do so can blow the backlight circuit, which would make the screen look black. To know for certain, shine a bright flashlight on the screen when you connect it to the computer. If you see a dim image, then you’ll know that the backlight circuit on the logic board is damaged. That would require a microsoldering repair and is not DIY.
