Chosen Solution
Phone keeps searching for WIFI signal and hangs. I have done hard reset a million times, doesn’t get alright with this. Cant even use it now for making or receiving calls or for that matter, can’t do any %#*@ thing on the phone. The phone is acting weird, it performs its own actions and doesn’t respond to the specified actions. I have twice factory reset the phone. The problem still persists.
Jaya this could be as simple to fix as wiping the cache partition . Old commands can be retained in the cache even with a factory reset and then reinstated with the new fresh edition press the VOLUME UP + HOME + POWER buttons all the same time and HOLD THEM DOWN. release only the POWER button when the device vibrates. release the other buttons when the ANDROID SYSTEM RECOVERY screen appears. using the VOLUME DOWN / UP buttons to navigate, select WIPE CACHE PARTITION. Its usually at the bottom of the list . If this brings no Joy then your next solution is to wipe the system and load a new ROM. If wiping the cache doesnt work let use know and we’ll guide you through installing a new ROM. Hope this helps
If you have Xfinity saved as a internet connection, consider deleting it. That always gloms into my connection and I can’t seem to shake it until I tell my phone to forget the connection. Once I did that everything was fine
