Hello! I recently replaced an iPhone 7 plus lightning port because you had to hold the cable in a special way for it to charge. Now the phone took around 2 hours to turn on while in the charger and the charger won’t charge the phone. The phone is stuck on 1 percent. Have anyone else experienced this? What do you think the problem is

You could have gotten a defective part or a low quality part. It could have a bad connection to the motherboard. Check the connection to the motherboard and make sure the pins aren’t damaged. Clean the connection with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. Make sure the battery is disconnected before doing repair work. Did you change the battery at the same time? What was/is the battery health? You should also have the tristar ic checked out. A repair shop can do that and they probably won’t charge you, it only takes a minute. The tristar ic controls the charging and data transfer.
