Chosen Solution
My iPhone has the newest iOS 11 update and has a broken screen. The phone boots up fine but when I instal the new screen it works but when powered off and turned back on it won’t work. If I put the old screen back on it will work. I’ve tried hard reboot and an iTunes restore and still can’t fix it I still get a black screen.
I have herd that this is a somewhat reoccurring problem with the iOS11 update and some low quality 3rd party screen replacements. I would recommend contacting the person you bough the screen from and telling them that it will not work with iOS11. Another solution could be to downgrade to 10.3 while it is still signed and see if the new screen works ok there. Then we know for sure it is the issue with iOS11 not liking the tolerances/quality of components with the new screen. Good luck!
