I just replaced the metal backing on my iPhone 7 and after I put it all together it seemed like everything ran perfectly! But then after 8 minutes or so it will reboot itself. The replacement does involve taking all components out of one phone then put it in a new housing. Any ideas as to why it reboots by itself?
It’s hard to say, a lot can go wrong with a DIY housing swap. You’ll want to double check your work by following this guide. Look for partially or completely torn flexes, improper screw placement (or missing screws), damaged connectors etc.
