So after replacing my LCD screen once, my front, back camera, and home button were damaged during repair so today I decided to replace them. I bought the parts from amazon and installed them with no problem. However, when I put everything back together I have no response to the phone but if I plug it into my computer it is recognized. If I hold both the home and power button, it resets on iTunes; but nothing appears on the screen. I’ve disconnected the battery and the three screen cables for a while, held the power button to drain the phone of any power left, and put them back together and still nothing. I’ve checked my connections and nothing seems to be damaged. is it possible I damaged a connector on the logic board?
If disconnecting then reseating your screen assembly doesn’t solve your issue, then you probably pulled too hard at the screen assembly and damaged the screen cables. Those iPhone 5C replacement screens are very fragile. You will confirm the above by trying on a new known good screen. Otherwise you could have damaged a board connector, but my money is on damaged/bad screen cables. Of course we’re assuming you have no liquid damage on your phone and at this time still assuming you did not knock something off the board during repair.
