I’m having trouble finding the correct charge port to replace my worn out charge port on my iphone SE 2020 model number mhg43ll/a I purchased one on amazon that was supposed to be the correct part, but when I installed it my phone would restart every 3 minutes. I reinstalled the old charge port and it worked fine, so I didn’t break anything, the part was defective. I did some research and discovered that low quality parts can cause this defect, so I bought the iphone 8/SE 2020 charge port (iPhone 8 Lightning Connector Assembly) from ifixit and installed it, but it is causing the same issue. Does anyone know where I can find the correct charge port that won’t cause that problem?

hello there, spare parts sold on ebay or iFixiT (same s.hit) are Chinese fakes. Apple does not sell genuine parts. Your phone is responding to an installed, non-original part that does not have the appropriate drivers, components, even entire sections. As a result, the phone reboots, saving the problem in the “panic log” available in settings - » privacy - » analysis. There you can read that the phone performed a registered restart due to the lack of reading from the charging tape sensors. It didn’t read because they’re not there! Today, the only source of original spare parts is disassembly from a damaged phone. You can buy them, but they are much more expensive and shabby than their Chinese cousins. However, they work perfectly. for the curious - iPhone performs subsystem tests cyclically, which corresponds to an interval of 170s (2 min 50sec) - these are your 3 minutes -regards,
