Ok so, i need help. I am new at the phone repair world, so i dont know terms and what not… The iphone 6 has never been repaired, had water damage or anything that i know of. The phone becomes unresponsive out of no where. I have to hit the phone to make it work. which it really does work. i noticed the corner of the phone was loose. i tighten the screws that fixed that problem. i have not tried any repairs yet.

This is a belated answer so hopefully it can be of use to folks who search for and find this question. On the iPhone 6, Touch issues are usually related to a defective screen assembly. This is a straightforward DIY repair if you follow this guide. In some cases, the device can be suffering from Touch Disease but that affliction more typically applies to the iPhone 6 Plus. However, if a screen replacement doesn’t solve the Touch issue, then a micro-soldering repair is required.
