turn phone on but keeps saying screen locked
I’m not 100% sure what you mean when you say the screen is locked. To me it sounds like it is asking for the passcode. You may want to try doing a hard reset of the phone (don’t worry, your data should be safe). Hold the power button at the top and the home button until the phone shuts off and keep holding until the Apple logo comes back on.
