Iphone 6s came in with water damage, it had a vcc main short that I was able to find and relieve. I then ultrasonic cleaned the board for a good amount of time. And now it shows the apple logo then static (refer to attached photo) I’ve never really seen a phone do that and I’ve been trying to figure it out for quite some time. Anyone have any suggestions on what to check?also I have confirmed it’s not the lcd
If your confident it’s not screen related, then I would step back and ask a few questions about the cleaning you did. Did you remove the shields prior to the ultrasonic bath? This is an important step that cannot be dismissed. I haven’t seen a screen behave like that myself but it looks to me like there is an issue with the data/sync lines (DISPLAY MIPI). Everything seems to work but the display data getting through is scrambled. That’s where I would investigate first.
