I changed the LCD screen and digitizer. I switched the wrong cables when installing the new screen and didn’t notice until after. The. Phone never powered back up so I switched back to the old cracked screen and the phone still isn’t powering up. What could have went wrong?
What do you mean switched the wrong cables? What happens when you plug it into iTunes? The display doesn’t even need to be on, just the battery connected. I know this is a freaky thing, don’t worry, it’ll come back on. We’re here to help
I switched the wrong cables on LCD replacement. The 5 cables that attach to the board and then is covered by the plate and 5 screws. The cables were not aligned properly and there are 2 cables very similar in size that were switched.
