Chosen Solution

My phone froze on the “Samsung logo” start-up screen and did not want to shut off with just the power button. I held the power, home, and volume buttons to boot into Recovery Mode and it did. I chose to boot it up normally but then it froze on the Recovery Mode screen. I held the power button down to shut it off then it didn’t want to turn back on so I plugged it in. When I did, a green screen was displayed with some OS options, so I chose to start it up with the existing OS. Now it doesn’t want to turn on at all and doesn’t show the battery screen when charging. Please help. Thank you.

Download and install Samsung Smart Switch on your PC. Connect your phone via USB, then choose “emergency firmware flash”. The software will do all the work for you.

Can you still boot to download mode or boot to recovery mode once again? If you get to download mode (by holding Volume Down, Home and Power keys at the same time) you could try reflashing the firmware without losing your data.
