Chosen Solution

I have a Samsung 50" plasma model PN50B550T2FXZA that a couple months ago would turn off randomly and then come back on. It started doing it just on the coax source and would be very infrequently. Now it is happening           constantly and on all sources. It will come on with a picture and everything and then shut off within a minute and turn back on and will just keep doing this cycle continuously. I checked and it doesn’t look like it has any bad capacitors. However, the back of the main board has some odd discoloration to it, it looks like dried soda and the power supply board looks like some of the leads have corrosion. I’m not an expert and I’m not sure of the next step to be looking at and just looking for some ideas.

Back of power supply. Looks like corrosion to me. My question is this fixable or should I just get a new board?

@mlavallee if the last image is the back side of your power supply, it looks pretty damaged. May be a clearer picture would shed more light on it. I would replace the complete board.

Try replacing the capacitors on the board. Plasma TVs are known to go bad because of old, leaking capacitors.
