What’s the answer to this? My tv menu looks normal too. I have a Toshiba Toshiba 49L420u Update (08/08/2021)
The TV “system” menu is not affected by the green. The “input” list is populated with all of the options shown, but I recall in the past only the inputs that are connected were shown. The rest were grey’d out. All of the other colors are there - as shown in the picture with the Play Station login screen. The model and software of the TV is shown too. Sorry about putting this off for last couple of months. Any help is appreciated.
I replaced this: TOSHIBA 49L420U REV: C MAIN BOARD TP.MS3553.PC705 There’s only really two things in the TV and I tried replacing each but this is the one that solved the problem.
Hi @climate , Can you try a signal source using another input or input type, i.e. if using a HDMI input try using an AV input or try using a different source e,g, if signal from a “box” of some type try connecting a DVD player and check the picture. If the picture is OK from another source (check all input types if possible) then the problem is the original source. if the picture is OK from another input type e.g. HDMI bad, AV good then it may be the HDMI inputs that are the problem. What is the model number of your TV?
If your menu is normal the issue is most likely t-con board related.
