When I replace my IPhone battery will I lose all the pictures, text messages, etc. that are stored on my phone? Will I need to back everything up to cloud storage before I do a battery replacement?
Changing the battery doesn’t make you lose any of the data as it is stored in non-volatile memory. However, whenever doing DIY repairs on your device, it’s always a good idea to do a backup first just in case you damage something accidentally.
