Do you have suggestions on how to clean or remove the pine pitch ? My beautiful coat has many spots and I haven’t found anything to remove the stains. Thanks much !
I’d try Goo Gone, the yellow orange stuff. It works on paper/magazines it should be ok on fabric. It could leave an oil spot which might evaporate over time or probably come out in the wash. WD-40 another possibility.
Hi @bonstelle , Have you tried “rubbing alcohol” to see if this removes the pine sap stains, you didn’t say? Before trying it on the stains, try swabbing a small area with a Q-Tip moistened with the rubbing alcohol, in a place where it won’t be noticed, just in case it affects the dye of the material.
