My 7 Plus screen has a pink tinge evenly over the whole screen. I’m wondering - is it the screen, a connector issue, or a mainboard issue? I don’t want to buy a high end screen replacement, only to find it’s still pink! Here’s a picture of it alongside another 7 Plus.
It’s the screen, common with aftermarket screens as the colors tend to not match the original displays. Only way to get matching colors is to get either a: Refurbished Screen. This is a screen where it was previously cracked but the display and touch screen were in working order. Only the cracked glass portion was replaced while retaining the original display to match colors.Original Screen. These can only be obtained by taking the screen from a phone that has never had it’s screen replaced before and is original. These are hard to come by and notably more expensive to buy.
