I bought two optical drives for my playstation 4 because the drive won’t accept discs due to maybe a bad sensor or damaged mechanisms, I changed the board from the old optical drive to the new ones and installed, but the playstation won’t turn on with the new ones, it does turn on with the old one… Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Is the new drive the same model as the original one? Typically with keyed drive replacements, the replacement unit has to be the same model and type as the original, in addition to the drive board replacement.
