I’m having a terrible time here. I’m not doing good financially. So I learned how to replace phone screens to flip phones and try to make some cash. I’m having a terrible time with this phone 8 plus. The seller told me the battery was broken, it would only charge to 1%. Then turn off after 1 minute. I figured it was the charge port. I ordered one, replaced it. Same problem. I came to the forum, asked for help. Someone told me its probably the battery. I ordered a new battery. It came today. Same problem! I wasted so much money trying to fix this phone. I replaced the charge port AND the battery. It still doesnt charge to more than 10%! What on earth could the problem be? How can I fix this?!
You have done what you should have done and that is ruled out a parts problem. Now you defiantly know you have a board problem. There is a problem with your charging circuit. If you haven’t the right equipment to diagnose and repair like a hot air station soldering iron multimeter etc. it would be advisable to have it repaired by a repair shop. If you are buying phones to fix you will run into these problems quite a bit. Why not start learning how to fix the boards; it’s a perfect opportunity if they are not customer’s phones. You can pick up some reasonably priced hot air and soldering stations and there are plenty of people on this site to give you a hand.
