I am saddened that my IPhone doesn’t display as a result of backlight. It just makes me mad. Can those little ic be bridge? I hate soldering the board. Spending money on this is no no for me. i dont have it, considering the fact the value of iPhone 5 has really come down significantly. Help.
Albany Bet sorry but no. You can not apply jumpers to that. You can try and determine which part truly has failed and then do a proper repair, or you can send it off to someone like @refectio to do it for you. Since spending money is not an option and you do not want to solder, then I’d suggest you just leave it the way it is and get used to a dark phone. There is no other way to do it.
