I plugged my 110v hand blender in a 220v power source. It made a flash, and never turned on again, so we can assume its burned, right? What exactly was damaged? Is it possible to fix it? How? Where do I buy the parts needed to do it?
pedro, the only way to determine exactly what has overloaded is by taking the blender apart. Most likely it is the caps (potentially a fuse on a circuit board) or even the motor. But, you’ll have to take it apart to see what needs to be replaced.
