Just bought a new charger for my tablet and I need to know the polarity setting for the tablet.
Wendy, most of the Iconia Tab use a barrel adapter for their power supply. Most of them have a 12 volt DC power output. The outside of the barrel (called the Ring) is negative and the inside (called Tip) is positive. Check your model and let us know so we can answer this specifically to your device.
ABSOLUTELY correct!!! The Acer Inconia A200, uses a barrel adapter for it’s power supply. It has a 12 volt DC power output. The outside of the barrel (called the Ring) is negative and the inside (called Tip) is positive. I uses a universal power supply with a max output of 1,300 mAh, (a.k.a 1.3 Amps) which work BEAUTIFULLY!!! Thanks, ‘oldtuky03’!!! This item is also available @ Batteries Plus Bulbs.;-)
I have a nextbook and kids lost my charger. Have a universal one. Just need to know if the center tip is positive
