I’ve been using a replacement touch screen for my device for the last couple months. Then after one night, the top left corner of the touch screen stopped responding to touch. It’s relatively a small portion of the screen but I’m unable to select Back in Messages, and close tabs in Safari, so it’s pretty annoying. I originally believed this to be Touch IC disease, so to test, I swapped back in my original cracked touch screen. With my original cracked screen, all areas of the touch screen work fine. I then swapped back in the replacement screen, and I continued to have issues with the touch screen, so I’ve narrowed it down to the specific part. Is there any way to re-calibrate the screen or repair this issue? Aside from replacing the entire touch screen? Thank You.
Doubtful, you would just have to get a new lcd.
