Hi, I’ve got a working A1181 and a broken A1278 (famous spilled drink story). Would it be possible to take the A1278’s LCD and put it in the A1181?

Sorry those parts are not compatible. You need an LCD specific to the A1278.

It’s not fit. and use different cable.
