When pressing turn on switch nothing happen
Chauncey Blakey, Disconnect the saw from the pole, and plug the saw into a normal extension and try the power switch direct on the saw. If the saw works the problem will be with the poles trigger switch or the cord/plug may be bad and will need repaired/replaced. If the saw does not work when plugged into extension cord the plug/cord/trigger or internal component, such as brushes of the saw has an issue. You use a DVOM to test the cords, switches etc.. If saw still under warranty return for repair, replacement, refund. If not comfortable working with electronics take the saw into a good local small tool/electronics repair shop, have them take a look and estimate repair. Also find the pole saws manual at link below as you may find additional info. that may help. Good luck.
