Hi, please help me , I appreciate your time. Yesterday night, the main power supply went off when I was working on my laptop and the inverter was off. I asked my family member to on the inverter, once it was pushed on, I heard some shock sound, like “thuppp”, near laptop where adapter pin is inserted, and laptop suddenly shutted down illegaly. I could see there was no green light in front of laptop, which shows input power supply is not connected. When I looked at adapter, the green light didn’t glow, as I removed adapter pin from laptop, the same led glowed green. So, thats what happened. And then, when I removed pin from laptop and hit on button ,laptop worked fine, so I’m stuck at this power supply. Any idea you have or a little knowledge, please help.
@tabrez_mir the chain of events that you are describing is a bit confusing, but it does sound like you are having a short in your AC adapter. It seems to shut down whenever you have a load on it. I would try a different adapter to resolve this.
