Chosen Solution
I cleaned up my power adapter and the cable with a weak solution of vinegar with a cotton swab unfortunately when I plugged it failed to charge then I used the second slot and it is charging very well. I took my laptop to the service provider they said I need to change the logic board what options I have please advice it will be expensive option in India. Thank You Narayanan Lakshmanan India
I think the only solution I can recommend here is to see if cleaning the connector pins again by first removing the logic board so you can get to the surfaces without getting things damaged more. I fear the solution you used wicked up into the connectors where the connector bar is mounted on the logic board. With the logic board removed, clean the foam (carefully remove it) as Vinegar is a conductive liquid. In the humid air of India it will cause issues! I would never use anything other than pure distilled water (Not tap, well or spring water! As they will contain minerals which you don’t want) Even still I would mostly use 85% or better isopropyl alcohol to clean the area as it will soak up the water as its a drier for the water if needed. Now with the logic board out use a pressurized can of 85% or better isopropyl alcohol to spray the connector area to hopefully push out the remaining vinegar solution thats in the connector bar.
As an example I use this one TRUE POWER RECHARGEABLE SPRAYER which I load up with either isopropyl alcohol or just air alone! Will that fix the connector I’m not sure! You may need to look at the contacts to see if they are damaged. Sadly this series would require a new logic board as the connectors are part of the logic board.
