Hi. I did a screen repair. Lots of tiny shards of glass but I am pretty sure I got every one of them. Now power button doesn’t work. I tried to clean it very well. I tried running battery all the way down and repowering. I tried everything everybody suggests online; it seems a common problem, maybe a software problem? I didn’t hurt any of the cables or wires so that’s not it.
You hurt the cable. Very common. If you lift the screen, you will find a small tear in your power/vol flex cable.
