Power input socket on my DOSS Soundbox XL seems to heve broken internally so that input cable plug is loose in the aperture, seems like the contact inside the box has become detached but its not obvious apart from the fact that the plug is not making any contact or being held by the socket. Can I get the back off to confirm my diagnosis and, if so, how? Its not clear. Does anyone have contact details for a DOSS repair centre- in Europe? Tom email tandemb@hotmail.com

Hi @tandemb , Here’s a link to a video that shows how to dis-assemble your speaker. Here’s an image taken from the User Manual which show the options you have to contact DOSS who may provide you with the information regarding European service centres (if they have any that is)

@tandemb Hi Tom Begley, unfortunately our device page does not cover the DOSS SoundBox XL and we are unfamiliar with this device. But, if this issue were to happen with our particular device, then we would recommend checking the connection to see if it’s a connection issue or a hardware. We would try soldering it back together if wires disconnected, or replacing lose/broken parts. At the bottom of the link below is a list of support outlets. https://www.dossaudio.com/
