Does anyone know the location of the power pads for this model Macbook Pro?
Unless you have some specific need for the power pads, I suggest plugging a charger. This is all it needs to power up. And it will boot without peripherals such as keyboard or trackpad. If it does boot without them, then fail to boot with any of them, you would know you have a suspect.
