Problem with cf slot when put card in, power disappear. Just sound tic tic and nothing else. without card back to normal.
Hi, If this is a software problem and not a hardware problem then maybe a firmware re-installation or upgrade may solve the problem, if it is corrupt data in the firmware. Here is a link that shows the firmware revisions for your camera. http://www.olympus.co.jp/en/support/imsg… If it is a software problem installing the firmware supplied by the manufacturer should cause no problems. If it is a hardware problem the firmware re-installation (upgrade) will not fix it. I do not know at all whether this will work or even if it will make your camera unworkable.
Hi everyone downgrade done from 1.5 to 1.4. Cf still not working. Conclusion mainboard faulty. Now looking for datasheet. Thanks for help.
