Hi everyone, I need replace power supply in Mac Pro 2012, can I use one from 2009 ? I mean are all power supplies for 2009-2012 same 980W or is there any difference what should I watch out for (cables, connectors etc…)? Thanks a lot.
The power supply from a 2009 Mac Pro should be compatible with your 2012 Mac Pro. That is assuming you’re using the A1289 model.
