Chosen Solution
Hi, I was trying to clean my PS4 Pro and change the thermal paste while following some guides on the website. When it came to the part of disconnecting my power supply, i use some plyers because the cable was stuck and i couldnt even wiggle it off. Well, the full connector came of the board. Im attaching some pictures. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you
yes it will require a soldering iron, solder, flux and a thin conductive wire Update (07/18/2022)
the point with the blue circle is the pad you are missing so that red line will be the wire, you will have to scrape some of the green coating away from around the small hole at the end of the red line and thats where the wire should connect to
circled red now as you must of misread me saying the red line inside the blue circle
Just to see if i understood this one, (please refer to the image attached), i soulder points 1, 2 and 3 and solder a wire from point a to point b on that single red line so that it replaces the missing pad?
I did misread, apologies. So it’s like this, 1, 2 and 3 soulder to the connector and then red line (conductive wire) goes from that circle that i have to scrape to the last connector?Sorry for my confusion but im kinda taken aback by all of this
