power windows will not work

If all the windows are not working from any location in the truck then your probably looking at a fuse but if its just one window or from one location ,for example back window works from drivers seat but not from back window door , then your dealing with a switch or wiring issue. If you could be more specific as to what works and what doesn’t it could help. Are all windows not working or just one or two?

Check the fuse to see if it is blown. PWR WDOW on panel.

Hi @myersw835 Couldn’t find the wiring diagram for a 1989 Blazer, but here’s an image showing the wiring for the doors locks and windows from a 1988 wiring diagram found here. Hopefully the 1989 wiring is the same as the 1988 It doesn’t show any fuses as such but circuit breakers. It would seem strange that neither would have power to them as the door lock circuit should be powered all the time and the windows would be only when the ignition key was operated i.e. two distinct power feeds. You may have to trace the wiring back from the two circuit breakers to see if there is a common point.

Note: I checked the wiring diagram for the 1991 model and it shows the wiring for a 2-door and 4 door model for the door locks whereas the 1988 wiring diagram is only for a 2-door model and they are the same, but the 1991 diagrams don’t show the power windows wiring Hopefully this is of some help.
