I need to know if a MacBook Pro 13" 2010 model A1278 will work with the battery removed. Reason is that I suspect the battery is dead or shorted preventing it from powering up. Water was spilled on it about 2 yrs ago and was not charged since. Thank you Update It did not power up so I need to tear it down and try to clean the logic bd, it is way too expensive to buy a replacement bd.
If your mac is plugged to the wall it should unless your logic board is damaged. If it doesn’t you have a bad logic board which needs to be repaired.
