For a while, every time I’ve put any pressure on the center of the hinge of my laptop, my laptop screen freezes, the computer gets warm, and the screen only turns off if the computer is forced to shut down. Sometimes, I’ll just be sitting and using the laptop and it’ll freeze without me realizing that any pressure was put on it. Lately, it’s become more sensitive and I’ve been wondering if anybody knows anything about this: Is it repairable, and, if not, what can I do about it? Thanks!
It’s a connection issue on the LCD LVDS cable that provides connection between the monitor and the logic board a.k.a the main board of the laptop. Cable is either loose or damaged most likely. If it is damaged the only way to get it working again is to replace it.
