My phone fell down and screen got cracked, I went up to an ifix store and changed the screen. When I got it back, it had a pressure point - when I asked the guy he said it was there before when you dropped it. But I am very sure it wasn’t there before. He mentioned it might have happened when I dropped it. I checked online forums and it said it usually happens when you replace it and don’t use adhesive or press the screen? Is this true? I still have a 30-day warranty. I am planning to go back to him and tell him all these stuff. Also, would the pressure point go away after replacing the screen again? Please Advise. @rohitsuresh26 sound s a bit like a phony story to me. “it was there before when you dropped it.” would not show up on a new display. personally I’d take it back and either have them fix it properly, or I’d replace it myself. iFixit has awesome guides like this iPhone 5s Screen Replacement for the task and the part is available right here iPhone 5s Screen Probably a bit more than the “ifix store” but at least you get a known high quality product with a warranty that will be hard to match by anyone. If you really are not sure and want to verify this, just post a couple of good images of what your screen displays. Use this guide for that it will allow us to see what you see.
