Hello, so for some reason today my tablet (T580 model one), stopped charging it. Tried with different cable, adapter, wall outlet, safe mode, and even complete reset of it. Tried the same with another phone and works fine. Connected my tablet to the PC and the PC detects it and can transfer files (same USB cable I use for charging) so it’s not a charging port problem. Either it’s a battery or software problem. For some reason when I tried to turn off the tablet while it was charging it, it went to Download/Odin mode every time. Don’t know why, but it literally worked yesterday and didn’t do anything that would cause such a problem. Can anyone help? Did anybody have such an experience?

Sent to official customer service of Samsung a few days ago, basically, they told me it was a problem with charging port and they fixed it quickly

Ontop of oldturkeys suggestions of fuel guage. You may have faulty/worn pin on the charging port of the device, as different pins are used for data transfer. After that, looking at charging IC circuit, or filters within that circuit which have popped.

@jukanida to rule out a software issue I would do a reset. Of course, safe all your files etc. first in a backup since you will lose those. After that try this How to Factory Reset Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Let us know what you get and if it worked. If not, time to take your tablet apart and have a closer look at the charging circuitry etc.
