Hi, At the beginning everything was working fine, some time ago I’ve noticed that my PC have problems with start-up, it’s not an issue related with power supply (I have three now…), RAM, processor, cooling nor motherboard, because from time to time it’s working (I have no idea why), and the interesting thing is that I have other GTX - a 560 model, which works completely fine. I sent back GTX 970 to the seller and they said it’s working on their computer, so where is the problem? I’ve been thinking that maybe the BIOS is outdated, but I can’t check it if my PC won’t pass through BIOS to Windows (no “beep”, monitor is black - actually it’s not turning on with GTX 970 connected) everything else is working (fans - even 970’s fans are rotating!) fine I guess. And also I’ve been disconnecting everything and start from the scratch - even trying to connect all items to my new motherboard (ASROCK) - nothing has changed. Please HELP! P.S.: Sorry for my bad english, I’m frustraited!

Hi everyone, it appears that the problem was exactly with the GTX 970, now I have to return it to the seller and wait for verification. I hope they will give me my money back so I can buy other graphic card, maybe this time 980 (I heard that 970 have problem with its RAM, and the problem might be related with this). Thankis for help! :)

Did you already try resetting the CMOS? You could always upgrade your BIOS to a new version, just to be certain that everything is up-to-date anyway. For that just drop in the 560, since you could always drop in the 970 after the bios upgrade and see what it does.

check your power supply… maybe it is not supplying enough power to the boar of VGA you have to test it on other machine by urself and see if it is working as claimed by those whom you bought if from… they might be deceiving you.

Hi Hubert, I’ve read your post and the many other posts below, it seems your using alot of different hardware, would you mind listing all the hardware you have. I’m particularly interested in the Motherboard and monitor, and the cables you are connecting them with.
